Disappointing Experience — Not Worth the Price
I travel quite a lot, but this was probably the first trip I returned from feeling that I had learned almost nothing about the country, its history, or its culture.
Considering how expensive this trip was, I expected a much higher level of organization, service, and attention to detail.
The biggest disappointment was the guided tours. Our guide often shared information only with the few people standing closest to her, while the rest of the group couldn’t hear anything. As a result, we visited beautiful and interesting places but learned very little about them.
The overall organization was also disappointing. There was a lot of unnecessary waiting, often in the heat, and many situations felt poorly planned. The logistics, timing, and comfort of the group didn’t seem to have been properly considered.
For a trip at this price point, I expected more than beautiful hotels and interesting destinations. I expected professional guides, thoughtful planning, smooth logistics, and a level of service that would make the experience feel special.
What makes it especially disappointing is that this trip had so much potential. The places we visited were beautiful, but beautiful destinations alone don’t justify such a high price.
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of my expectations, especially considering the cost.
